Telemedicine is making its way into healthcare. In mid-November the VI Institute brought international experts to Vienna to explore the potential of new solutions alongside national experts. Topics included telemedicine developments in dermatology and pathology, emergency medicine, and general healthcare. Additionally, the focus was on data protection.

Telemedicine is the future, but it raises many questions. The symposium covered topics such as pilot projects, legal issues, opportunities, and risks, as well as experience reports from both domestic and international sources.
